Exclusive to Snapmaker & Bambu Lab
3D printer maintenance & repairs
At 3D Marvels we run Snapmaker and Bambu Lab printers every day in our Cork workshop. We know how these machines behave when they're looked after properly — and how quickly small issues turn into bigger ones when they're not. That's why we've put together a straightforward maintenance and repair service just for these two brands.
Whether you're printing the odd prototype at home or running batches for a business, regular care keeps accuracy high, reduces failed prints and extends the life of the machine. We follow the manufacturers' recommended schedules and use the same practical approach we apply to our own fleet.

Repair & diagnostic rates
Prices are for workshop service — drop-off, or collection by arrangement in the Cork area. Collection and return within Ballincollig and greater Cork can be arranged, just ask. Outside Cork we can discuss shipping options.
How often should you service?
Bambu Lab — their guidance, and what we see in practice
XY cleaning & lube roughly monthly, deeper Z-axis work every 3 months.
Every 2 months for the main axes, every 3–4 months for Z.
Stretch to every 3 months.
Snapmaker
Snapmaker machines benefit from monthly cleaning of linear modules and gears, with a more thorough check every three months. Heavy use of abrasive or volatile filaments (carbon-filled, ABS/ASA and similar) shortens all of these intervals — we'll happily look at your usage and recommend a sensible schedule.
FAQ
Do you only service Snapmaker and Bambu Lab?
Yes. We specialise in these two brands because we use them ourselves and know the systems well. We don't take other makes at the moment.
Are parts included in the service price?
No. Labour and consumables for cleaning and lubrication are included. Any replacement parts are extra and only fitted after we confirm the cost with you.
How long does a service take?
Most Standard and Comprehensive services are turned around within 3–5 working days. Simple repairs are often quicker. We'll give you a realistic timeframe when you book.
Can I drop the printer in, or do you collect?
Both. Drop-off at our Ballincollig unit is fine, or we can arrange collection in the Cork area. For further afield we'll discuss the best option.
What if the printer is still under manufacturer warranty?
We'll always check first. Some maintenance tasks are fine, but anything that could affect the warranty we'll discuss with you before proceeding.
Do you service AMS units and multi-tool systems?
Yes — AMS, AMS Lite and Snapmaker multi-module setups are all covered as part of the service when fitted.
How do I book?
Drop us a message with the model (e.g. Bambu Lab P1S, X1C, P2S, A1, Snapmaker Artisan, U1), a short note on any issues or how heavily it's used, and we'll come back to you with availability and a quote.

Reverse engineering and replacement parts
We are adding 3D scanning to the workshop, for reverse engineering, reproducing parts that are no longer available, and digitising existing components so they can be modified or reprinted. If you have a part you need copied or redrawn, bring it in and we will talk through what is realistic.
Online booking for scanning opens shortly — in the meantime, get in touch and we will arrange it directly.
Looking after these printers properly is the difference between consistent results and constant frustration. If yours is due a clean and check, or something's not quite right, get in touch — we're happy to help.
Service intervals above are general guidance based on manufacturer recommendations and our own workshop experience — the right schedule depends on how the machine is used and which filaments you run. Prices exclude replacement parts and are confirmed when you book.
